Edit: Providing he actually said this and it's not a promoter's influence of course.

Pretty sure there was some pepper and salt thrown on there to spice things up, but Arsen is simply saying that Devon hasnt pulled in that scene for a while (in Europe with the big boys) which is very true...unless I'm mistaken.

IMO when Pushkar is pulling both right and left in the same stage Devon also should have asked for another right hand match on the same stage. I am not sure why PAL is not asking for right arm fight from Devon!!

Why would he pull #3 rank when he can pull #1?

Also, Arsen is counting on the fact that Devon is suseptable (sp?) to speed....i.e. Devon vs. Taras Ivankin, fast toproll - that was a while ago though...I don't think it's far to say it's a walk in the park with any of these guys when you get to that level.

I for one, do believe that Devon is #1 in the world...but to be undisputed and really seen as #1, he probably should pull in competitions like Nemirof and other big European ones....Brznk has been doing this for a long time, but Devon doesnt get involved on that scene.

Devon stops Pushkar's huge hit, tears him of his shoulder and walks him to the pin pad. After that Pushkar is destroyed from the inside out. Maybe see a few intentional strap matches near the end. JMO but I think Pushkar will "hit" himself into a bad position and Devon will capitalize.

Take hime to school Devon!!! You got this brother!!!

Well, you are mistaken. Devon has 4 podiums at Worlds (count 'em FOUR). To say he's never done it once is a discredit to him and what he's accomplished. Once again ignorance prevails. "Simply saying" is simply lying with intent to provoke.

He also said that Pushkar is number one... even after Todd demolished him 6-0. If this is really Arsen saying this then he's a fool. If it's a promoter adding "salt and pepper" via lies then it's on him.

One more thing I find interesting in this paradox. Not acknowledging Devon's performance at Worlds GREATLY downplays the importance of the event he's actually trying to lend credence to. Odd isn't it?

I'm curious to know who organized this...Why would they do it at the same time the 2nd Euro cup semi final match between Germeny and Italy is taking place? In terms of spreading the sport and getting people aware of arm wrestling, that's not a very smart decision...soccer is the 2nd most watched sport in the world after Nascar....not sure why you would organize an event this big during that time...
