I don't believe John hooked at all in his last supermatch. It would be a mistake to think John is a one trick pony.

I don't mind it. It's a nice change and looks way more professional than the old board.

The colours are horrible - I hate typing/reading white text on a black background. Can we have the format/colours of the "old" board back again?

I don't like music at events either Hugh.
Nice turnout.
The Quebec Hercules must look massive.
Gilbert was 220? For some reason I thought he was heavier.

Paquette is incredibly strong in press & hook. Alex is around 245lbs I think. Sylvan weighed 235 and looked strong.

It sounds like this was a great Provincial Championship!
I see that Alexandre Paquette won the 220 with both the right and left. Last year he took third both arms. I don't think I've met him, be it sounds like he's a powerhouse!
Has Alexandre Lévesque put on that much weight?

Here are some results. A more complete list should be out soon.
154R (12): Sylvain Bissonnette, Martin Langlois, Mario Bolduc. 176R (8): Robert Jacques, Kevin McCoy, Maxim Tanguay. 198R (9): Denis Dubreuil, Heintje Bergeron, Jocelyn Berard. 220R (6): Alexandre Paquette, Antoine Dubreuil, Sebastien Blanchette. 221+R (10): Sylvain Perron, Christian Bernard, Alexandre Levesque. 154L (9): Chris Gobby, Sylvain Bissonnette, Michel Roy. 176L (4): Denis Dubreuil, Nicolas Lemire, Kevin McCoy. 198L (5): Heintje Bergeron, Dave Danault, Jocelyn Berard. 220L (5): Alexandre Paquette, Antoine Dubreuil, Christian Gilbert. 221+L (9): Sylvain Perron, Christian Bernard, Alexandre Levesque.
77 (male) entries, several women, and a bunch of kids. It was held in a hotel dining room (in St-Jean - 30-45 minutes from Montreal depending on which bridge you took - the Construction Festival has begun!) - free from music of any sort (you could actually talk to people and be heard!); good meals were available in the $12-14 range, bar, and lots of seats for everyone.

LOL. Overweight? Chris if I sent you a picture of myself with my shirt off it would turn you gay. As for being a novice, I remember pulling you once and we were pretty even, then. The problem for you is, I would take the man I was then, spank him, call him my bitch, and make him rub s**t all over his face. This trash talking is good fun but we both know you don't want any part of me.

Chris I respect you to much and am begging you not to do this to yourself! Don't allow your ego to ruin your career. Stay strong, stay humble, and stay away from the big boys.

198 is locked up right and left as I already made weight. I am being nice and giving people a heads up so they can pick an easier tournament. Sitting heavy around 165. I think I ll head down, pull 98's and see what you got Don.
