I just picked up the trophies for the event. They're pretty sweet -- triple column beauties for first and double columns for second and third. Come on out for a fun Saturday!

Eric on behalf of myself and g Ronald thank you very much for the hard work you did in putting together this turny with such short notice
i had an amazing time
i say i surprised alot of people buffer took three in a row left. he took the first one right i stoped him on the second one right and we went to the strap where i smashed him and felt that rist of his hit the pin pad third time exactly the same, forth pull we went to the straps he got in to his press and i felt like i had to pull his whole body a cross the table but i finaly got him there for the win and to take the right hand super match
thank you buffer as always great competer and a good friend was a pleasure to pull you
thunder defiantly made a lot of noise in Brampton and we dominated the points with Eric the fire furnace taking home two 2nd place trophy's and Shea putting on one heck of a show a against crazy George
in all a good day and a couple of sore ones to come

I want to thank everyone for coming out to the event. Considering it was organized very quickly, I think it was a great success with a total of 78 entries.
I think I was most impressed with Eric Furness' improvement and intensity at the table -- lookout for him this year. Joanne Langlois also made quite an impression, taking first in the women's left hand class.
Of course, thanks Joe and Dave for reffing on short notice. You guys are great.
The results have been posted in the Tournament Results section of the board. The various points races will be updated later this evening.

How did Anatoly look? Was he tested at all?
How about Shea? Could he give George some hell? Did Shea pull Anatoly afterwards?
