Not sure Bilal if there is "a bunch" of guys ranked higher than John. 3-4 maybe. John, I'm a huge sylvain fan as well. But after watching him pull yesterday.. He's closer to beating Devon then he is to losing to earl, tyrell etc.... Hey Chris, Did you not say a few weeks ago that Christian was beating Sylvain? I hope Sylvain is trainning for this big tourny in Vegas in July. When he is trainning I really believe that he could beat any 220 lber in the world. I know thats a tall order but this guy really has impressed me over the last 20 years. Plus he is one hell of a nice guy. JMO John

They pulled at Christmas and I "heard" that Christian was getting the better of him. In the last 8-9 years I don't think sylvain ever trained for more than 3 months in any given year. But I agree with you John, if committed... There maybe no one better in the 220.

Awesome job guys!!! Congrats Tyler on Provincial win. Can't wait to grip up with you @ the Melter. Are Denis and Antonie related??? Either way tons of talent building in Quebec!!! How'd the ladies do Chris??? Hope a lot more of you guys come out to the Melter and the awesome Non-curcuit tourney's that the High Hookers put together out that way.

Bilal Devon could beat John as well but he's not in his weight class. Saying someone thats not in his weight class (Dan K) can beat him does not advance your argument much.

I believe there are four main teams in Quebec, but I expect more to start popping up in the near future.

4 official yes. DAWT 41, Metahook, Vendette (heintje's team) and Missitini ?(northern reservation)... Although Meta-Hook is by far the sexiest!
Alex levesque is in the process of starting up a Quebec City region team.
In my time in this sport, things have never looked better in Quebec. After 20+ years we know have a new President. It's Marc Andre Campeau and his vision for the sport has exciting potential. I beleive he just locked down a big sponser & venue in Joliette (40 min north west of Mtl) in October. Its a very simular format to joes ARMMELTER league, triple elim, overalls etc... I'm not sure if Quebec has the volume of pullers to successfully pull this off... But if the RESERVATION Aboriginal team supports (40+ entrees) We ll be in good shape.

He's made 242, but not 220.
