I had originally intended to keep the list of participants of the Nitro Championship Belt tournament secret, but I am having second thoughts on that decision. Specifically, the "secret list" of competitors creates no opportunity to build up hype for this event.
Unless I get overwhelming support to keep the list secret, I will unveil the participants by weeks end.
Respond to this thread or message me privately to let me know your opinion.

Agreed. Secret = no hype. Announcing might encourage more people to show up and watch.

Each competitor will choose a number when they arrive at the event, then based on numerical order they will choose a spot in the brackets, so luck of the draw and bracket placing will play a big factor in the outcome of this battle royal.
That being said, any predictions so far?
Also, I have two spots to fill for Team East. 1 invitation has been sent out. Still deciding on the 8th guy.

Why Jeff??? One is old and the other needs a stool to reach the table??? You should have no trouble.
If Janek can hold his mettle I am picking him to win this! He has been looking formidable lately. Either him or the old silver buck, I mean back.

When I first started setting this up, I said Janek would be the highest ranked 242lb'er involved and Tom Smith would be the highest ranked 243+'er.
Conrad is ranked below Janek, and although ranked in the 198's (at #3), Jason Manjin's weight fluctuates and he says he will be over 200 for this event - and he recently lost to Tyler Robinson from the 242's and Tyler is ranked #10 - so I feel this is a level playing field.
To me, the favourites, are the highest ranked 242 and 243+, Janek and Tom.
