Considering the situation, this news seems pretty good! I hope the healing continues to go well.

Fayez, you need your own thread on your recovery. Not everyone will find it here. You're very well liked in the sport and many people want to know how you're doing.

Best of luck John. Don't think about the loss or Bilal's doubt. You'll come out of it a more experienced puller. That's the most important element.

Bilal you always doubt me. Even when you said you'd never do it again. It's all good though, that's where the smart money is. Rob is a champ. Mr. Manjin, I do usually turn into a bastard in the later rounds. I need to get fired up, but that will be hard against Rob. He's too cool. Maybe I'll get you to drop something on my foot after match one so I get pissed off. It's not about doubt John. You seem to take my opinion personally. I think you are a great puller and I have never doubted your abilities, but you always choose targets that are in my opinion, out of sight for you at the moment. I could be wrong. I've been wrong. Like when I said Dan will beat you 3-0 and you beat him 3-0. It happens. I hope you prove me wrong this time too. By the way, I was in Ottawa yesterday. AND I had shawarma there too lol

Trust me, I don't take them personally. I like busting your chops once in a while. You're really coming into your own now in this sport and it's nice to see that you stuck it out. You took a little bit of flack in the beginning but you hung in there.
Shawarma's are the key to power, I'm telling you!!!
I eat about 8 a week.

I'm not the kind to quit anything John and I've made an impact in every sport I've ever competed in, and I will make an impact in arm wrestling. It may take years before I even get noticed, but I will... Also, I fly out of Toronto airport tmrw and will arrive in Beirut in 2 days.....all the shawarmas you can eat....they taste better and they're way cheaper....can you say bulking time!!!

John,
I talked to Mark and if you are in agreement we could pull at his tournament on April 13th in Woodstock. I won't be coming to Belleville as I pulled in Michigan last Saturday. I took an ass kicking so I need to get on the table.

This is kind of funny but totally true. I saw that you replied to this thread and instantly got nervous. I was like "Oh shit, he's coming to get me in Belleville". In a matter of seconds I was asking myself if I'd trained enough, if I had all my soreness gone and if I was going to demolished in a few short days. It made me sit up and take a breath before I clicked the thread open. "Do you really want to look and see if that monster really is under your bed? Or should I just try to sleep through it?" I'm relieved (somewhat) that you're not coming to Belleville. I'll be able to relax for the rest of the week now. I'm interested in who you pulled, how you felt and the like. If you could post it that would be great. I think April would be good. I can't confirm tonight (I'm out of town and need to look at my calendar) but it sounds like it will work. It's very easy to be diligent when training scared - which I can assure you I will be. Thanks for letting me know Rob (and letting me sleep easy) ;D

John,
you're funny. I the 242 class Jeremy Boyd beat me twice and in the heavy weights, Robert Bishop beat me twice. It was an emotional day as there were tributes to Vernon Lang and my son, Chris. So my head wasn't really in it. George Deible gave me a beautiful armwrestling table, they had a moment of silence and they made me an honourary Michigan team member. Emotional day. I realize that I need more table time. I will take you seriously and train very hard for you. The challenge gives me something to focus on and comes at a good time for me.

That sounds great that they honoured you and your son like that. The AW community (at most time) is incredibly awesome.
