June 1st and 2nd, the Toronto Pro Supershow will be the host to Arm Melter 17 and the Canadian Professional Championship supermatches. The Pro Show is Canada's biggest fitness expo, so this is a great spotlight for our sport. Saturday's event will feature the Canadian Professional Championship supermatches, including an exhibition match between to former WAF World champions - Mike Gould and Sylvain Perron. Also on the Saturday we will have the Arm Melter 17 event. This is triple elimination armwrestling with the winners qualifying for championship supermatches at Arm Melter 18, (Brockville Ribfest). I have secured a pretty great deal which I hope entices everyone to take part in this tournament. Everyone who takes part in Saturdays event (ARM MELTER 17 and/or the supermatches), gets free entry into the fitness expo. Sunday we will be having youth and novice classes. The youth will be ran similar to the MGC youth classes. There will be 5 right and 5 left hand classes with weight divisions be determined based on participation. The novice divisions will be right and left hand, 0-176, 176-198, 199+. Because the expo only is open till 6:00 on the Saturday, we will be starting the supermatches earlier than normal, and the tournament will be ran on two tables. This sounds great. I missed it last year because I didn't care much for the format. Triple Elimination is my favorite.

Slater vs Gould would be sweet. Maybe we will get to pull at the Provincials though. I'm not looking for another supermatch at the ARM MELTER. Right now, I'm focusing on my right hand match with John Milne, and beyond that I just want to focus on promoting the ARM MELTER series. In fact, I am stepping down as left overall belt holder for this league. But, I have two great competitors lined up to battle for that left belt.

Conrad vs. Christian looks AWESOME!!
Wow, this could be a war. I doubt anyone is toprolling here. I can't wait to see this. I almost wish I wasn't pulling so I could watch some of these matches. This one and Gould vs Perron could be fantastic.

How about Mike Gould vs. Sylvain Perron Two of Canada's most awesome legends collide. I think it's a barn burner. I'm giving very slight edge to Perron. (That should help your training Mike)

If Sylvain arrives in his 2011 SuperShow shape, I think Mike will win.
If Sylvain arrives in his 2012 SuperShow shape, I think Sylvain will win.
