The Wasaga Beach Armwrestling Championships are only a few days away. I thought it would be interesting to post the list of pullers who are near the top of the standings for the OAA Puller of the Year. This is where things currently stand:
MEN
Kyle Kerswill – 20 points
Maksim Khodau – 19 points
Rick Heidebrecht – 16 points
Guy Windover – 15 points
Brad Wade – 14 points
Joel Goodsell – 13 points
WOMEN
Tammy Schell – 26 points
Heidi Cordner – 22 points
Ashley Maher – 18 points
Sarah Wilson – 15 points
Chantal Leduc – 12 points
For the 2013-14 season, only pullers’ top five tournament performances count (plus Provincials). As of 2014, points can be earned at all OAA-sanctioned events. Points are earned in the following manner: 5 points for a 1st place finish, 4 points for a 2nd place finish, 3 points for a 3rd place finish, 2 points for a 4th place finish, and 1 point for a 5th place finish. Points can only be earned in one weight class per arm at a given event, for a maximum of 10 points per event.
