This tournament has earned the reputation as the biggest and best pro tournament in Canada, no doubt. But, along with that, it has also earned the reputation as the biggest and toughest amateur tournament as well.
So keep all that in mind when you are trying to determine who is amateur, and who is pro.
Their are many pullers in Ontario who have competed for 10+ years, and have perhaps picked up some titles over the years, but are not necessarily pro's, and should feel no guilt pulling amateur.
Their is a class for every armwrestler at the MGC!

Grippler I mean absolutely no disrespect when I say you got a 75% Andrew and not the Full Monty! He injured his left at the central ontarios and was not up to snuff at the Arm Melter. I predict a Canadian Championship for him in the near future. He is solid!!!!!!! As for Kyle, he is progressing well. Adding some technique into great stamina. I dont believe he needs sorting out or to believe in himself, just some time to develop. One thing we push more than anything in our club is to keep enjoying th sport and train hard. When it becomes about having to win all the time, I will quit. I got a little pissed about Andrews ranking after the Melter, but oh well. It is what it is. We refocused, and are training harder. The MGC to me is a great big show. We get to compete beside the best in NA. How cool is that!!!!!!!!

Guy in all fairness to myself as well I to was not 100% as I came into the event with little rest as it was not a priority for myself...just a warmup for the Goulds as well my staminia isn't the greatest left handed and I had a few wars in my class with Hasan and the warrior Dave Drum... I am proud of Andrews sucess but in no way feel I can't beat him. It wouldn't be easy but Im confident that my experience should be enough!

Didnt mean to make it sound that way at all. What I was trying to get across is just how scary his left feels at 200 lbs. I dont doubt you can still beat him but I dont think it will be too long until few will at his weight.

I also want to encourage people to give the pro classes a try.
With so many awesome pullers in one class fatigue can be a factor. Who wouldn't want to pull John Brzenk if he has just lost a war to Devon and his fatigue is obvious?

Im not sure but there will be lots of places with it on and we will be wrapping up earlier than other years so we can always go catch it at another bar if need be.
