AL I'D come back with some really quick witted comeback but I don't really understand your post so I guess I'll try to answer it as best as I can...The Stupid Shit comment I think was reffered to the slip explanation of the rules..Well I got that from Bob Brown on the N/E board so I'll be sure to let him know what you think of his rule explanation! Al the thing is i don't have to ask Devon about it I have my own too eyes that work fine! www.youtube.com/watch?v=95-bKhSsp_U

It was disappointing having to pull my bro in the first round, but it was just (bad)luck of the draw. We decided to let him go to the a bracket, and I would go to the b. From that point, Mike won a few matches, and disappointingly lost to Don Underwood twice before quarter finals. Again (bad) luck of the draw. Mike pulled well enough to make final four, but ended up 5th or 6th - very close. In my opinion should not have pulled Underwood twice before quarter finals, but that's the way it went.
I felt very ready to do some damage on the b side, but lost my very first b dide match to Shawn "the Boss" Ross. I hit Shawn 3/4's the way over, but he managed to hook me in and bring me back. His hook is way stronger than mine!
Bad day for me, but pretty good day for Mike, he easily could have been on the podium with Sly!

Other thoughts
More Ontario pullers need to go to this event, whether you qualify or not. It is an awesome tournament, and a lot of fun.
Grippler you would love it. Al Aubin, you and your guys should make the trip. It's wicked!
We need some 154's pullers to represent!
Devon vs Don
Every person in the expo (all 500,000 or so) knew it was not a pin.
Good on Don Underwood for getting Devon in that position about 3 times though.
A win is a win, I agree, and speed kills!
The ref who made that call made several BRUTAL calls both days. Worst ref I've seen in some time.

Good on ya - Big Tony Brooks!
Tony has worked harder at BAC practices than anyone (other than me) and is very deserving of his qualification.
Good on ya Tone for going as a spectator/supporter in 08, and 09, gaining valuable experience, keeping your goals in front of you and competing in 2010!
Thanks Cash McCaw for going too, and doing the bulk of the driving.
Great trip guys, I had a blast! Impossible to go away with BigPimpin, and not have fun!

Slips and Straps
The referee will call one foul for Intentional slip out when:
a) You lift your fingers off your opponents hand prior to a slippage
b) You close your fingers as to make a fist inside your opponents hand
c) Youre in break wrist position and you pull your fingers inside your opponents hand, therefore you are unable to hold your grip.
d) Straps will be used when any match ends by way of a slip-out not resulting in a foul. A slip-out occurs when both competitors have lost complete contact with one another. The official must be certain of the circumstances preceding the actual slip out before calling a foul. If the official is uncertain as to who caused the slippage or it was caused by the actions of both competitors, then straps will be used and NO FOUL will be given.
e) When straps are employed, the officials will ask competitors to place their elbows to the back of their respective elbow pads, place their hands palm to palm, fingers extended and thumbs up. Opposite hand will grip hand peg. In this position the strap can be quickly installed. Only the official can adjust the strap. Competitors may ask to loosen it or move it if its uncomfortable. The strap cannot be lower than 1" below the natural wrist line.
f) After the strap is installed, competitors may take their grip and place their elbow to their choice of position unless in a refs grip.
g) If a competitor intentionally slips out during the match in a losing position (losing position is determined by being more than 2/3 rd of the way down to the pin pad), the competitor will lose that particular match. Any intentional slip is an automatic FOUL.

It was a great Arnold's with some major upsets like me sleeping and loosing my first match and getting 2 great wins then loosing to Razor with full control by way of fowls. Devon Loosing to a horrible call by the refs, But then we have George as our 8 time champ!! It was a great tournament! I personally can't wait till mikes tournament, after the Arnold's Devon will be a more aggressive and even better than ever!
