Here’s the agenda for the Annual General Meeting on Saturday:
1:00pm: Welcome and overview of past year
1:05pm: Description of two possible Team of the Year point systems
1:10pm: Description of two possible sets of Region boundaries
1:15pm: Description of possible increases to annual membership fee and circuit sanctioned event entry fees
1:20pm: Brief presentations regarding location of 2011 Provincial Championships
1:25pm: Collection of votes
1:30pm: Annual Awards Presentations
1:40pm: Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
2:00pm: End
Prior to the meeting, each puller will receive a ballot sheet where they will indicate their votes for the various propositions. The votes will be tabulated following the meeting and the results will be announced later in the day.
This is what will be included on the ballot sheet:
Team of the Year Points
Scenario A:
• Unlimited number of team members
• Only best five placings at circuit events count for points (5 points for 1st, 4 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd, 2 points for 4th, 1 point for 5th)
• All team members who compete in a circuit event automatically earn 1 point (regardless of number of categories entered)
• Tournament Director, Referees, Scorekeeper, and Emcee earn 1 point each (if someone has two roles such as scorekeeper/emcee, only 1 point is earned)
Scenario B:
• Maximum of 10 members per team can earn points at circuit events
• All team members earn points for up to two classes (one right and one left). If a competitor pulls multiple classes with the same arm, the better result will count (5 points for 1st, 4 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd, 2 points for 4th, 1 point for 5th).
• All team members who compete in a circuit event automatically earn 1 point (regardless of number of categories entered)
• Tournament Director, Referees, Scorekeeper, and Emcee earn 1 point each (if someone has two roles such as scorekeeper/emcee, only 1 point is earned)

Scenario A: Three Regions – North/East, Central, and South/West
Scenario B: Four Regions – North/East, Central, West, South
