Proper diet and exercise will do it. No excuses, no faulty science. If your caloric intake is lower than what you burn you lose weight. If that deficit is too huge then your body will plateau putting you into starvation mode. I don't suspect this is the case, it's probably mental and lack of keeping a journal. You might be taking in more than you think you are. Write everything down.
Your plateau could also come from over training. I know you are busting it hard with PT and that may have you beaten down. Take it slow and steady big man. Keep your protein high and don't be afraid of carbs.. just don't over do them. Stay away from junk... no secret here, you know what junk is.. don't eat it!
The timing of your meals account for something too. Eat protein and oatmeal in the morning when you wake up. Take a protein shake as your last meal/snack in the evening. In between that just eat smart and train. Take something in every 2-2.5 hrs to keep your metabolism going. Small amounts though, or perhaps just a shake between bfast, lunch and dinner.
Congratulations on your huge loss in weight so far. That's awesome! I'm proud of you Grippler. You can do anything you want if you apply yourself. Keep on chugging, you'll get there.

drink lots and lots of water...the more you drink, the more you piss out and sweat out in training.
Also, smaller more frequent meals and no meals after 7 pm.

Ditto on all the above but it may be time to switch up your work outs as well. Depending on how much PT you're doing already (as well as more info on the other stuff like eating and day schedule.) I'd suggest doing timed rounds of supersets or circuits and I really like doing weight sled work.

Grippler, pat yourself on the back, (I cant believe I just said that to you), LOL, you have done extremely well so far. We were talking on the way home last weekend about how good you were looking. Give yourself a break. Do what the fellas above are telling you, and you will succeed. Be patient, you didnt get heavy in a day and you will not lose it in a day. But when you do....... stay outa the 198's. Great job.
