It's important to note that there is a wide range of difficulty in these events. Everyone should be able to accomplish at least some of the events, while I don't expect anyone to be able to accomplish all of them (although it is a small possibility).

Some of these events are admittedly hard (especially the ones near the top of the list). However, many of the weights used will be accessible to most.
Also, remember there will be two hand size divisions.
Grippers are also my weakest grip event.

I've witnessed Big Rick do some warm up reps with the 350 lbs and i was barely able to budge it like 5 mm lol

I saw Rick H. close the COC 3 which is about 280 lbs. pressure to close. The #4 is the hardest at 365 lbs. rating to close and I don't have that 1. I've done the #2 and got a 3 about 1/2 way but #4 is kinda pointless to attempt lol.
ROLLING THUNDER is a good lift for me as well as pinch grip lift. The Anvil, jar, 2 x 4 and pliers lift will be interesting to try and I've tried a V - Bar (verticle bar) lift and that's a cool event.
How many events do we choose?

You do as many as you can within a time limit. Probably 5 minutes.
All of these are one handed events. Competitors will be able to switch hands whenever they see fit.

How are points awarded? And do you have to start from the bottom and work your way up?

Every feat is of equal value -- 1 point each for a maximum of 35 points. The competitor can choose to complete the events in any order, and can return to re-attempt failed lifts any number of times (within the allotted time).

I really hope you can make it, Stefan. I'd like to see how you do in the 165's. And I expect you would be one of the favourites in the hand strength challenge.

Haha ya man I would love to make it, just going to have to see how the funds are around that time. After reading all the grip events earlier today I went downstairs to see how I would fair, I attempted my 50lbs blob, and could not lift it! 40lb was a go, but no 50. I was still able to shut my hard #3 and bust out some rafter chin ups. So my crush and pinch are still alive! as for the anvil lift, I highly doubt I will be able to lift.
Also Eric I mentioned to you before that I am attempting to be the lightest man to lift the Thomas Inch dumbbell or just lift it being under it's weight, I have only been able to make it to 137.5lbs my home made Inch with a revolving handle, so I do not think I will be able to lift it.
