Saw the posting on Facebook.
1) Are the "masters" classes age-group related? Or is it just another name for a third group of classes between "amateur" and "pro"? 2) Do the "masters" classes have both right and left-hand classes?

The Masters class at this event is age related. 40+.
Not sure about right and left.

Yes, the masters division will be offered in right and left, and it is 40+ years of age.

congrates to Mike on being part of the next UAL event. I made the suggestion he should pull Tom Nelson.

199+ in the amateur means that there should be around 50 entries thats a lot would it be better to keep it at 221+?

In my opinion, it would be better with 100 entries in all classes. 50 would be great though. The amateur that wins this class is a STUD.
The way the classes are now, mirror the Arnold Classic. Look at it this way, Arnold Schwarzenegger does not have the budget for a 220 class.
In the future, the 220 class will likely be the next class added, if and when the event expands.

This is the biggest event in Canada outside of the National championships, but there is still tons of room for growth. We had approximately 250 entries last year, but with so many divisions, the entries per class was around 10. In the old days, tournaments like Over the Top, and Yukon Jack, had 70-90+ entries in some classes.

The Over the Top finals was a 22 hour event - started at 8am on a Saturday and finished at 6am on Sunday. I doubt there will ever be another event like it.
