I noticed most events that happen, do happen in fairly remote areas in Ontario...i.e. less populated. Is that just a coincidence. I could be wrong though...but I'e seen Bellville, Peterborough, etc...I never see sauga, toronto, brampton, burlingtonm hamilton, etc

This is simply due to the fact that there are no active armwrestling promoters that live in Toronto. However, there are some events held in the GTA from time to time. I travelled to hold one in Brampton in 2009. There's one in Hamilton every few yeras, and there used to be a big annual event in Oakville. Last year's Provincial Championships were in Mississauga. HOWEVER, I've just posted some details in the upcoming tournaments section for a sweet event taking place in Toronto this June. It should be a big one.

I'd like to hold another event in Hamilton. It's a matter of finding interested venue(s) which I found a couple interested and fitting in with their schedule.
The biggest part is fitting it into the tournament schedule for the OAA. Otherwise you and the other promoter lose out potentially a lot if your event is too close to another tournament.
Looking at the UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS link it's pretty loaded already and the sport has really taken off compared to a few years ago even which is a good thing of course.
