Thanks Guy I had a great time at your event, I think there were 8 girls in my class which made it allot of fun. How many girls would it take to have more than one class. Although it was fun pulling against the bigger girls I would like to know how I would do against girls my size.
You asked for feed back on how we liked the triple elimination so here it is: I got to pull 5 times in total and lost my last 3. which is great for me because I need the table time. I think that I would have had 4 matches if it was double elimination, so for the same price I would rather pull 5 times.. So to sum it up triple is good. The part I didn't like was that I had to pull the same girl twice in a row, losing to her was ok but to have to lose to her again right away seemed to take the wind out of my sails. I understood that as I lost matches I would be pared up with girls closer to my strength and size, but pulling a much larger girl twice in a row that was able to beat me with ease didn't portray what I was told on the board. All in all I'm happy with how I did, how the event was run, the refereeing and the good sportsmanship. So only having one complaint from me means the tournament in my eyes was a success.
Thanks Guy
Ashley

This annual tournament is quickly becoming one of the best in Ontario. A top notch venue, bigger crowd than last year and still had enough seating for everyone. A very well run event with excellent reffing, emcee, scorekeeping, streamed live, trophies and two tables running smooth all day. Great to see some new faces and some old ones too.

This was my first tournament and I had a blast. Thanks to Guy for organizing an excellent event and to all the referee's for their great work throughout the day. It was great to meet some of the people on the scene and to pull and get tips from some very talented arm wrestlers.

Thank you Guy, for putting on another excellent event! Everything ran very smoothly, and I don't remember the last time I attended an event of this size that was over by 5:30pm! (Actually, I don't think I've ever seen this.) I don't know how you do it, but each year you manage to bring out a lot of first time pullers for the novice classes.
It was great to meet so many new pullers. The amount of pullers who have entered the sport over the past three or four years is incredible, and it's great to see so many progress in their abilities.
I think Joel Goodsell probably impressed me most yesterday. I think he's about ready for a super-rematch with Sylvain Bissonnette. Joel continues to improve at every event.
Dan Kadlec had freak strength. He will soon be a strong force in the heavy class as he learns more technique.
Goerg Iszakouits will win the Arnold Classic once again.

Firstly it was not just my tourney. Dan, Ryan, Jacob, Cindy and many others put mucho time into this, as well as Team Buckhorn.
Ashley, cant remember the mishap but the blame is mine alone. We decided to go ahead with the triple even thought we had 9 entries. Not how many girls would it take but stick around for a bit and see how many tournaments actually consistently get 9 entries. Doesnt happen often. Trophies cost money. I appologize for the mishap and thanks for the feed back.
Becky, once again great job!!! You were amazing and with you and Cindy knocking it off that brought about the 5:30 finish.
To John, Craig, Dave, Earl and Dan! Fantastic job fellas!!! I honestly cant think of any complaints from the pullers which rarely happens. Thank you sooo much for helping make a good event great!!!
To the pullers who attended. Thank you to the Novice for stepping up and trying our magnificent sport. I only hope you get hooked as the rest of us have, and support the family. Keep on trying. To the open pullers who made the trek, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. It is not an easy task to put on any event and there is always the possiblity of weather and just plain old no one attending for whatever reason. Alot of money riding on a maybe. Thanks for showing up and competeing in an incredible display of sportsmanship and skill. You all looked awesome!!!
A big thanks to Scott MacInnis for making the trip with Bags and Bags of stuff to film an event for some idiots from Peterpatch. You were a good friend for the weekend and I greatly appreciated your discussion and suggestions.
Also Ralphie and Randy for attending all the way from Nova Scotia. Wow. These two were powerhouses. So great to see what the next level looks like!!! Our Canadian Future.
To Mike Haigh for being such a gracious friend and for having such a servants heart. Thanks for all you did and continue to do. Hug ya later.
Thank you all for the kind words, and I hope the trophies were up to expectations.
Lastly, MY WIFE IS INCREDIBLE!! She tolerates me and my habit, (armwrestling), and my weird friends, (yes you Lougheed), LOL. Life is good. I am tired.

Wow..it was a long trip home with my tail between my legs....but getting my butt kicked just makes me come back for more...cant wait to do it again. Guy put on a flawless day of pulling and incredible excitment! These guys are 10 times the athletes I thought they would be. Alot of great tips at the afterpull. Congrats to all the pullers....you all worked hard and deserve every bit of credit! I was a little star struck to say the least to see and meet all these pros...Eric, Shea, Joel, George..and so on...Thanks Guy!!!
