Pads are good for sponsor logos. As for whats better, I guess every referee has a different opinion on it. As a puller, i don't see any true difference. JMO

There have been a couple of changes apparently. 10" was a couple of years ago. Still waiting on last years changes, LOL. Mr Pinkney is slow. Haha Rick.

10", 12" or 14" solid pin pads suck!!!! It inhibits reffs from doing there job. Pin lines are much better!!!!

I am just curious, but why do they inhibit the ref?

Cant see through them. Ref must repositon all the time to see the elbows and pins. I just like pin lines better.

Pads are stupid and serve no purpose if cut out. I've reffed and pulled and I say pin lines all the way, JMO!

Lines are better for the the puller and the ref think about it if the the ref can see the whole time without repositioning he can call the match more accurately.

There you have it. From a ref's perspective pin lines are the ONLY way to go. We don't need even more complaints because of calls impossible to make due to something out of our control.
If you want better calls, you NEED pin lines.
