light would need another offical , to make the start and determine if there is an early start , don't move go , is the same as ready go , after getting used to it , after doing both , i feel it might lead to more consistant starts , when i reffed i always tried to change up the call speeds so it was harder for competters to antisipate the start .

In my very limited experience, if you wait until you hear "go" to actually hit, you are probably f^cked. You almost have to jump the gun to be competitive unless you have been exposed to gamma radiation earlier in life.
I vote for whatever makes the start harder to anticipate, and the match, imo, more fair. Is this the answer? I don't know.
