2012 Provincials

At this year’s Provincials in Belleville, OAA members will vote on the location for the 2012 Provincials. Tournament promotion experience is required in order to be considered as a host for the event. A few things to keep in mind:

• The 2012 Provincials will likely need to occur in May. The 2012 Worlds will be taking place in September, which has forced the Canadian Championships up to Canada Day weekend. In turn, Ontario needs to move up its Provincials.
  
• The 2012 Nationals are being held in Vancouver and the 2012 Worlds are being held in Brazil.
  

If you are interested in hosting the Provincials, please let me know by July 2nd, so that voting ballots can be prepared.

If you have any specific questions about what hosting the Provincials entails, please let me know.
