Clear weather is announced for this weekend. I hope lots of you can make it out for the final event of the year. The event has been promoted in the local paper, so hopefully we'll get a few newcomers to compete.

Doesn't look like we're showing up to this one Eric. It's just a little to late for our blood!

Just wanted to drop a note to say thanks, and congradulations to all the high hookers involved and who prepared me for this tournament. It was a great tournament to be involved in as a first timer. Also need to say thanks to Devon for the hours we talk and train, wish you could have been there too. Anyway looking forward to more competition and know there is lots of training to be done to get some of that grippler quickness
Thanks to Eric for hosting and John and Joe for keeping the proceedings under control.
See you soon Cameron

Congratulations Cameron. You did very well.
The full results from the event have been posted in the Tournament Results section of the board and of the OAA website. Thanks to all who made it to the event. It was small, but fun.
The following pullers have earned free entries into the Ontario Provincial Championships:
Joel Goodsell - Both arms Rick Klock - Right arm Jeff Slater - Left arm Daylan Thomas - Both arms Ian Carnegie - Both arms
For those who have been in the sport 20+ years, Tony Hickey was at the event. He did not compete, but I got a chance to talk to him. He was happy to hear that a lot of pullers who competed back in the '80s are still around (Rick Baarbe, Crazy George, Tony Senger, etc.). We pulled a bit on the table afterwards and he still feels very strong.

I'm sorry I and the rest of the Montreal gang couldn't make it - we would have filled out the 154 classes :-)
So - until next time.
