Are there any Ontario pullers who are thinking of pulling the 132 lb class at Nationals, or even the 121 lb class? During the '90s, a 135 lb class was offered at most events in Ontario, but now it looks like there are very few pullers under 140. It would be great to have some Ontario representation in one or both of these classes at Nationals. I realize that pulling the 154 class at Provincials could seem daunting, but it would probably be worthwhile to get to pull competitors of similar weight at Nationals.
Does anyone know if Gil Lesperance and Jason Forget are still pulling?

hey Eric here's a question for you thats been on my mind for a while . Is there a weight grace at the provincials and nationals and is so how much ? and why ? i think that if you weigh in your class you should be able to pull there and why should you have to pull a guy thats five or ten pounds over the MAX weight !! i dont find it far to the new guys especially !And thats at all tournament ? just my opion! lol

Weigh-ins at Canadians are extremely strict. If the class is 70 kg, no more than 70.0 on the scale will do. Provincials are also very strict. Of course, pullers can strip down in order to make the weight. Many pullers dehydrate, and can cut 10 to 15 pounds. Especially at Nationals, where pullers can weigh in on the Friday night and only pull on the Sunday.
