At the OAA Annual General Meeting this past Saturday, a number of decisions were made:
Ontario will support the possible start command rule change (“Don’t move ----- Go”) at the CAWF Annual Meeting at Nationals.
The 2012 Provincial Championships will be held in Barrie and hosted by Maksim Khodau. The tentative date is May 5th. The date will be confirmed later this summer.
Bi-annual elections were held for the four elected positions that form the OAA Executive:
Eric Roussin will remain President Joe Gould will move to Vice President Dave Campbell will remain Referee-in-Chief Mike Haigh will come on board as Secretary/Treasurer

Promoter of the Year – Joe Gould Rookie of the Year – Tyler Robinson Most Improved Puller – Guy Windover and Joel Goodsell (Tie) Murray Park Memorial Sportsmanship Award – Joel Goodsell Ironman Award – Tony Brooks and Guy Windover (Tie) Male Puller of the Year – Shea Dickie Female Puller of the Year – Janet Riehle Team of the Year – Teeswater Thunder Ontario’s Strongest Armwrestling Region – Western Ontario
On a separate note, congratulations to first time Provincial Champions Shea Dickie, Tanya Morrissette, and Shawna Ducharme-Wilson!
