Great job done by Refs, The MC and Eric.

Thanks Eric for yet another awesome Ribfest event! Although every aspect was successful, with plenty of highlights there is one thing that stands alone... The performance and showmanship of The Grippler. By far the puller of the day, taking Greg Boyes (from his sweet spot) and out powering him across the table... And the show he put on briefly afterwards was priceless!! Great job Ian.

The crippler really put on a show very entertaining, every match was amazing. Everyone has great respect for each, a lot of class shown among the competitors.

Great event - well organized, well reffed. However - the heat and humidity (and the changed weight classes) sure didn't help me as you will see from the results (whenever they are posted). Maybe we needed a good rainstorm during the event :-)

The DAWT greatly appreciated this competition, the quality of armwrestlers and the organization. Eric you did an excellent job, John you have a good talent on the microphone, but you're still better on the table loll. Thank you to Jeff and Devon for reffering. Now Quebec is preparing for the national and once again, the quality of the organization of the OAA will be awesome.

There was lots of great action yesterday! I have to agree that Ian Carnegie was the puller of the day. Incredible intensity, power, and strength.
I think the biggest surprise was to see Greg Boyes show up for this event. A last minute challenge was issued by John Milne and the two faced off in a right arm supermatch. This supermatch, as well as the others, were a great way to kick off the event.
The kids event once again proved very successful, and many competitors will be coming to Ottawa to compete in the National Championships.
Thank you to my referees, Devon and Jeff, and to my emcee, John. You guys did great. Also thank you to Jerry for filming the event for In the Hook. And of course, thank you to everyone that attended!
