We need a Team Captain at Nationals for the Ontario team. By having a team captain, competitors will be able to protest calls that they feel strongly are wrong. The Team Captain should be very familiar with the sport's rules, and should be present for the entire day of competition (although we could have two team captains -- one for Saturday and one for Sunday).
Does anyone want to volunteer or nominate someone to be Team Captain?
I cannot take on this role as I will be running around all weekend taking care of event details.

No worries John I just know how smart you are when it comes to this stuff. Appreciate the kudos my PPAW brothers but I am stupid with the National game. It has been centuries since I attended a Nats and I dont feel this is a good time to learn it. I think Craig or Mark are much more intelligent with this exercise and would better benefit the pullers. But crap that makes me feel good!!!

If we are having two captains, I think a veteran and a newer/younger puller is a good idea.
Craig Mitchell is a great choice, as a veteran. Canada team captain many times.
If there is someone interested, speak up. Especially, someone younger, who might be planning on hitting the Nationals regularly over the next few years. Joel Goodsell?
