I just watched this interesting video of Tyrrell Wojcicjowsky table training. What are the advantages and disadvantages of table training using a bicycle's rubber tube? The tendon stretches and the rubber stretches too with an increase in resistance so they behave similarly. is extra caution required? i think elastic potential energy is the keyword here. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zyP8erihcY

The dude in the video is Curtis "Smashinsky" Klashinsky, a teammate of Tyrrell's.
I think the training he is doing is so so. I'm sure it can't hurt, but I think you need a different angle. As soon as you put down pressure, towards pinning, the resistance is gone.
I use training bands, and have broke many. I now hold my non pulling hand in front of my face. Been smacked too many times.

thx for the info buddy. i also bought fat gripz to attach to the tube for a better grip. I doubt I have the power to break it but maybe i should consider buying a face gear just in case lol

26inch by 1.25 bicycle tire tubes are the way to go for me. I have a few of them wrapped to a pole and you can pull on them anyway you want. Smooth progressive resistance and they work great.

Fayez go on youtube and type in Allen Fisher armwrestling training. He has got about 5-10 videos on using resistance bands from different angles and different grips that I found very helpful in switching up my training. I dream of someday having forearms like Mr Fisher!!!!
