February 25th Circuit Tournament in Toronto

With Nationals moved up to Canada Day weekend in 2012, we had to adjust the OAA schedule to fit in five circuit sanctioned events plus Provincials. We've had the Eastern and Western Championships in November, we'll have the Central Championships in late January, and the Southern Championships in mid April. I was hoping to slot in the Northern Championships in late February, but this timeframe didn't work for either of the two biggest promoters from up north -- Big Luke Laporte and Jeff Kaye. For this reason, we've had to find an alternate location to hold this fifth circuit tournament -- a location that was relatively neutral (i.e. not at one extreme end of the province). Luckily, Mike Gould has accepted to host a circuit tournament right in Toronto on the desired date of February 25th. Venue details will be posted at a later date, but the standard circuit weight classes and entry fees will apply (men's right and left 154, 176, 198, 242, 243+, and women's right and left open; $25 per entry).

So if you're interested in the points races, keep these dates in mind:

January 28th - Central Ontario Championships - Peterborough
February 25th - Golden Horseshoe Championships - Toronto
April 14th - Southern Ontario Championships - Woodstock
May 5th - Provincial Championships - Barrie
