Anyone have thoughts about this event? Obviously I missed it.
I see SJL made an appearance, big Dan took first and Eric "The Fire" pulled SUPERS if I read it right.

This was an awesome event! Guy Windover and his team had all the bases covered. Great venue, great awards, nice shirts, well run. The huge crowd reminded me of the MGC.
The novice classes were big, 16 in one of them, and lots of good matches.
The open classes were, for the most part, stacked with good armwrestlers.
Team Sudbury was out in full force, they are a huge team now it seems. Big Tom Smith had a nice win over Mark Z for second in the heavies. Dan Bellefuille had awesome hook wins over Shea.
Other big wins/big match ups/big days
Chantel Leduc vs Janet Riehle, Chantel getting the win in refs grip x2.
"The Welsh Hammer" Hugh Brodie over Steve Murray, convincingly.
Shawn Jensen over Andrew Scott, left, was impressive.
The Cooke bros, each earning 1st place. A year ago, they were first time novices.
John Keuhl. Big dude. looked super strong winning left 243+ in his (re)debut.

This tournament was evidence of how happening armwrestling is in Ontario. So many strong new guys!

Awesome performance by the Cooke Brothers! They're improving very fast! Props to Shawn Jensen as well for winning the left 98s.
That 176 class was sick!
Nice to see SJL was out again. Hopefully he'll come out to more events this year.
I'm happy to see John Kuehl made the trip. If we're lucky, he will become a member of the High Hookers.
Great to see such a large turnout. I'm sorry I couldn't make it this year.

Looks like it was a great event! I am sorry I had to miss it... Evan and Bradford Cook - way to represent boys!!! All the hard training is paying off! Evan, as I said, once you start beating my hook, you have a solid shot at 242...:)LOL Good work! Shawn - nice job winning that left! Seems that Dan B. is starting to dominate 176! Look out George... Congrats Guy on another successful COAC!!!

I have posted 27 pictures from the COAC event on the Arm Melter Armwrestling League facebook page.
I am not a good with a camera, and they were taken with an iphone. So, they aren't great!
