Guy! Jeff Slater confirmed your match so be safe and train HARD brother cause he felt strong on Monday!! I am trying to get of Anatoly for Dan Kadlec. But Doug Is super fast and lots of side pressure. I would have to get Dans opinion on the match before trying to set him up with that kind of puller.

Yes Guy, I think Dan could win this one but he would not be the favorite. Dan would need to get his hit off early. As stated Doug is very fast and seems to get away with slightly early starts. If Dan does not get his hit or preferable start he hasn't shown he's got the (defensive) power to hang with Doug Allen.
Guy do you think you could stop Doug's hit? Or did you mean you could out hit him? I'm just trying to clarify your meaning.

I think Guy meant that if Doug didn't go early the match would ve lasted .75 seconds instead of .25 seconds.

Say what you will Chris, but I know when I have a chance, and in the setup he did not feel that overpowering. John I honestly dont think Dan will have any trouble with him. If the refs are good, early starts will not be tolerated. His start was so early on me even my wife noticed it. Craig Tullier was flabergasted that it was not called. And yes Chris I am not saying I couldve won. But in the setup I did not feel overpowered like you did with Aubin.
Just sayin.

First of all... Most elite pullers don't feel over powering in the set up. It's called a dead load. 2 nd, vs Al, i got what I needed. Stopped match & got hook. He was just stronger (no Shame in that). With Doug u got smacked like a girl and proceeded to blame his early start and reffing.

1. Wasnt dead load. Full pressure. 2. Still didnt get smacked. 3rd. Stop being an idiot. I responded to your stupid snipe and will not continue bantering with you as you clearly have no clue what you are talking about. (ITs happening more lately, huh)
I am the first one to be protective of Dan, I feel he needs time to sharpen his tools. But I dont feel he should be afraid of Doug. Brent beat him fairly easily, and Brent pulls similar to Dan.

Those "snipes" makes things entertaining. U played along and threw a jab. Then when it escalated past ur comfort zone, u call me an idiot. Go take ur delicate sensibility and stick it up ur ass. I ll say what I want, when I want.

You do that. It really doesnt bother me like you seem to think. I will drop this as it is not the topic of the thread. Feel free to discuss to my face Mr Gobby.

Thanks Ian, I will work as hard as I can. Dont want to make it easy for Jeff. He is still better than I am, but the gap is definitely closing.

Wow. I know about Dan and give him praises. He's awesome and he's spanked me too many times for me to doubt him. However saying Dan "would not have any problem with Doug Allen" is amazing to me.
I see this one as one of those "matchup things". Dan can beat Eric and has beaten me easily. However I think both Eric and I have better chances against Doug than Dan does (Supermatch format). Going from memory when Dan is on the losing side of the table he rarely brings it back around. Doug will put him there unless Dan has increased his speed/power a great deal. I'm not talking horsepower I'm talking the speed/power as it relates to a hit.
Of course I could be totally wrong. It's happened before.

I would like to see Doug vs Dan though. Don't get me wrong.

Hell Im not saying Im right, just have a hunch. In all honesty, besides the likes of Mike, Earl, Rick, I cannot think of too many times Dan has been on the losing side of things? The only time I have seen this was the round robing against Allen and I would judge that based on what it was, a round robin. Lotsa styles to convert to quickly. We have seen Devon have issues when faced with changing styles in a double elim format as well. When faced with the same animal 6 times, I would think adjustment would be easier? But I could be as wrong as could be also. Just that I have recently felt them both? Nod to Dan IMO. Only time will tell. Plus I dont think Dan would make a 220 cap. 242 would be closest.
Doug looked more like 230-240 in Florida.
