I figure Doug may come to the MGC. If he does, we'll get a better idea of who could be a good match for him.

As you know, I'm slated to face him in Vegas at ArmWars.
Nothing confirmed but it's most likely.
Eric would be a nice match I think. Tamblyn (if he was heavier would be better) but still tough Anatoly could be a good matchup Kadlec might be too slow and lacks defensive power but I'd give him a small chance
You'd need to go to the HW to find other competitive matches for him. I don't think anyone in the 198's other than Brian or the few 220\'s can give him trouble.
Rob Graham would most likely be the best. Both set your ass on fire fast, whoever hits first wins this. Will not likely be a war.

I don't think that Simon would fare too well. I have not seen him in a while though.
I hadn't considered anyone outside of Ontario as you asked "Who in Ontario is of his caliber?"

Maybe Simon would be a good match, but it's hard to say. We haven't seen him in action in a while. I would suggest he get a bit heavier, too.

Christian Bernard is strong but Doug fires off so fast that the big guy might get in a spot he cannot recover from.
Boyes might be able to fire off on Doug, not sure who is quicker. I still favor Doug in that match though.

Simon would get crushed. I agree with John, Eric could very well be the best equipped to give him a match. If Brian can get north of 200 his speed & power will hang with Doug.

I have been talking with him briefly and i am pretty sure he will be attending the MGC. It will make the 220s that much beter.

I think Dan could match up with Doug quite well. I just pulled him a week ago in Florida and I feel if he hadnt gone on "take your grips" I might have slowed him down. I think right handed Dan could win this one. JMO
Left handed he is a whole different ball of wax. Rakers beat him all day righty.
