I just had it confirmed: rogers tv will be doing a two hour coverage of the 2012 Provincials! In such time frame they should be able to cover quarters/semi-finals and the finals. They also asked if anyone could do the commentary for the footage. If anyone is interested, please let me know. I think a good commentary will make a huge difference as to how the competition is perceived by general public. Thanks in advance! P.S. Ian Carnegie will also be filming the event!  |

Mark Z would do an awesome job at commentating, he knows the sport very well and also knows the pullers well. He does a great job doing it at his tourny

Mark Zalepa will be on the mc through the tournament. John Milne will do the commentary for tv. This will be great!!! I really look forward to this one!

I did an interview with Rogers today, and it looks like they are very excited about the event! They intend to film the entire event (dvds will be available, as well as online content). I just wanted to mention that the operator will be at the venue all day filming and interviewing. I will get the details but from what they told me, the event will be available to watch not only in Simcoe County but in other parts of Ontario as well. I think this is a great opportunity to showcase what we are all about here in the strongest armwrestling region in Canada (and hell yea, I will say North America  ). |
