The 2012 Provincial Championships were fantastic! Great competition and lots of upsets!
I want to thank Maksim doing such a great job in organizing this event. Maksim being an accountant, tax season is the busiest time of the year for him, and having to remember all of the details associated with running an event of this size could not have been easy.
A lot of pullers had great performances, but just focusing on my class, Kade, Dan, and John felt awesome. All three felt like they made significant gains since the last time I matched up with them. This class is becoming downright scary!
Congratulations to all of the annual award winners, and to Joey for being awarded the 2013 Provincials.
I'm very happy that Paul Cecchini and Mark Zalepa are now in the Ontario Armwrestling Hall of Fame -- both are extremely deserving individuals. The Hall of Fame section of the OAA website will be updated in the coming weeks.
I look forward to the 2012/13 OAA season. I have a feeling it will be a great one!
