Glouchester was awesome as usual. Kids classes were fantastic. Highlights for me were- Ivan pulling too many classes and getting stung in the end by a very strong left handed Dan Carrier, very improved.. Don Smith- Wow. Awesome out of the blocks, first tournament gets a first and a second. looked great, diverse and confident. Al and Rob both these guys pulled awesome, and improving. Al has huge potential in the 176 lb class here in ontario, and beyond, i believe that. Jaimison got a big toproll win in the open. a big day for him.
Steve Murray... man oh man.. Spiral fracture, right arm, he's in the hospital right now, but 99% sure that is it. I feel kinda bad, cause i told him he needed to commit his shoulder more when he was in his defensive hook. Match stopped in the defensive hook and he laid the power on hard, bam... I will say one thing, i have never seen anyone take a break so well, he honestly looked not to shaken, i don't think i would be anywhere near a cool. I hope for a good recovery for you Pitbull.

Wow... I hate that stuff man. Armwrestling is a tough sport. Hope he'll be ok.
I believe the Hammer pulled out a couple of 3rds, and our boy Pete the Beast took Right Hand overalls. Good job Meta-Hook!

I would have faced Steve in the 154 RH quarter-finals, and was ready for him - hoping that entering the extra class would wear him down for the match against me. Never did I expect what happened! I said farewell to him as he was driven off in a golf cart (to an ambulance?). First-aid people had been on the scene within seconds - two of them just happened to be sitting outside the tent (planned or not).
Get well soon, Steve, and you still have a left arm to work with. :-)

I am a huge fan of Steve Murray!! The man is a warrior in every sense of the word. He trains so much I get jelous of his dedication. he pulls multiple classes any chance he gets. Steve was warned that this would happen if he continued gunning for the big dogs this early in his career! But he is his own man and does things his way. And that is go hard or go home. I admire this man and I was shocked how he took his broken Arm it almost looked like he acheived something big like a right of passage!! Hopefully his cast is at a nice 45 degrees!! He said hell be at the next HighHooker practice pulling lefty and I beleive him!! Get well soon brother PITBULL!

I'm not sure if Steve is interested in taking a herbal path to a quick and strong recovery, if so my mothers a herbalist and she recommends these key items comfrey&boneset (sometimes found together), Horsetail, chlorophyll to regulate your PH balance otherwise your body will rob your bones of it to balance itself & Lots of greens of course. thought I'd throw them out there. Wish you all the best to a speedy recovery.

guys i am overwhelmed with all the well wishes.Devon is right ariginal dignosis was spiral fracture, it wasn't until the arm was opened around 8pm monday evening the the second break was found. a metal plate was put in with 14 screws. for those of you who know i do train as hard as possible with a go hard or go home attituded. after intense discussion with the specialst it will be roughly 18 months before i can think of comming back of course time depending healing and rehab. i will still make it out to spectate tourny's here and there.
there was no ligament or tendon or nerve damage. just the breaks. curently stiff and swollen. rehab has begun today dotors and specialists were both pleased with the success of the surgery. just streching for the next two weeks. I would like to especially like to thank the hit machine for dropping by the general to visit.. this out pouring of support is a reminder of how close the arm wrestling world really is. I can't thank you all enough.. I WILL BE BACK.. just taking a slight pitstop folks. updates will come as i get them.
Hugh thanks for seeing me off buddy you are a true friend and competitor. i lookforward to continueing what we started.
Mr. Payne thank you for the advice i will definitely explore them on my road to recovery and ask my team of specialists about them for sure.
