A good time was had by all at the Ottawa Fit Show. About 50 competitors (plus kids) - making 4 or 5 per class on the average. Congrats to Nicola Gazetto, who (I think) took 4 firsts, to Chris Gobby who (I think) took 3 firsts, and to Steve Roy who performed well. I had my usual mediocre results. :-(
Good MC'ing by Rick Blanchard, and good reffing by Alain Blanchard and Phil Tanner.

I hope to get the full results from Rick some time this week. I was there to witness most of the tournament. Dan Carriere had a great left hand match with Ivan Clément. Dan got the win, but Ivan didn't make it easy.
I want to congratulate Jeff Slater for lifting the Inch Dumbbell for the first time. One of the booths at the expo had the dumbbell and was giving free shirts to anyone who could lift it.
