Once again, the OAA will be able to offer the following puller incentives to OAA members for the 2012/13 season:
Please note that although free entries to the Provincials can be earned, all competitors will still be required to pay to renew their OAA membership at the 2013 Provincials.
If you competed at the 2012 Provincials in Barrie, you are a current member of the OAA for the 2012/13 season. If you do not yet have your membership, you will have the opportunity to purchase one for $30 at any circuit sanctioned event. An OAA membership is not required in order to competed in OAA events, except for the Provincial Championships. However, a membership does entitle you to compete for the incentives listed above and it will help support the sport in the province.
This is the circuit sanctioned event schedule for 2012/13:
The Provincial Championships will be held in Gravenhurst on May 4th (Promoter: Joey Costello).
The 2013 Nationals will be hosted by Joanne Lachance and Lori Larocque in Timmins between June 28th and July 1st. Timmins is recognized as the birthplace of organized armwrestling in Canada. Let’s do what we can to bring the biggest and strongest team ever to the Nationals!
