Imagine it's 2006 or so and Brzenk is by all accounts in his prime. He's unanimously considered the world's number one armwrestler and a WAF event is approaching. Also, imagine if we are in the United States if you will.
How would a comment be met if someone "in the know" with extensive WAF experience said John would be hard pressed to even podium?
Would that person be met with critisizm? Would it be warranted? Would his opposers be then accused of having a crush on John, even if they just presented valid arguments to contradict the original statement?
Does this even make sense in any bizzare world?
Or am I just stuck in an Ontario man crush love bubble?
