as an update. range of motion stopped at 95%. looks like the remaining 5% is difficult to regain but it doesn't interfere with my gym workouts anyways. I am now lifting light weights at the gym. bicep curls with 30 lbs for now.

Had my last x ray on thursday and the bone is more than 95% healed. I am now going medium to heavy weights at the gym but nothing not too crazy as recommended by the surgeon. This message marks the end of this thread. Thanks to all who showed concern.

There are a few armwrestlers that I know that have broken their arms then won World Championships...... John Brzenk, Mitch Caddy

thanks Milne and Roberts. I don't give up easily on what I like. I look forward to getting stronger and catching up with my teammates Bilal and Harpreet who are getting stronger real fast. looking forward to competing again.

strange thing is that i can curl heavier weight with my left. my right tends to fail earlier. even assuming the new bone is stronger, how does this affect power? isnt power the combination of muscle + tendon strength?
