Historically we're even with one win a piece.
Joe won in 2006 (Brockville, June 2nd @ 2:27pm), I won in 2011 (Canadian Nationals semi finals Ottawa)

Great matchup I think if joe gould has his hit going I think he could catch John off guard but if John has his hand working good he has the ability to stop pullers and get hand control 3-2 John Milne

There certainly is a possibility that he can hit right through me. He will not catch me off guard though, should he flash pin me he deserves all the credit.

John is excellent at containment, and he holds a big edge in torque and mild edge in stamina. 3-0 John. 3-1 if he attempts to over rise or miss times a dead load.

John is the favorite in this one. I look at this as a real challenge, my toughest supermatch challenge yet.
I have really training to get stronger and ideally I would like to ARMWRESTLE with John, not just rely on a big hit. Either way, I'm going to do whatever I can to hold onto this title.
This is part of the fun of the ARM MELTER Professional league. I have not chose to pull John, rather he won the opportunity to pull me, so, I just need to be as ready as possible for the challenge.
From a promoters stand point, I think this is a great match up. The Champion, Joe Gould, undefeated in ARM MELTER supermatches - 4-0, explosive hitter, technically strong, tricky, 5x CAWF champ. The Challenger, John Milne, 2x ARM MELTER CANADIAN PROFESSIONAL CHAMP, 5-3 in ARM MELTER supermatches, powerhouse strong, technically strong, ARM WARS veteran.
From a competitors stand point - I'm excited. I'm at a RVJ level of excitement. I can't wait to compete.
JUNE 1st is coming soon! Come check out this great match up and many, many more at Canada's biggest fitness expo - the Toronto Pro Supershow!

Jeez, you're 4-0? I'd rather you not rely on the big hit either Joe. If you want to slowly roll into a hook that would be cool. I won't protest that unless you beat me there too. In which case I'll just pack my bags and go home. I don't have a real game plan for this one. I'm going in physically and mentally ready, healthy and without pain. I plan to adjust to what Joe gives me and take what I can. My last 1vs1 (@mgc) I won via toprolls and even hitting through on my final match. Heck, I even got an early start warning. I like to think I'm not just a hook puller but at the end of the day, it's just cooler to be a hook guy. That being said, if I can hook to win I will, if I need to toproll well... I'll try to suck it down into a hook before the pin

I don't believe John hooked at all in his last supermatch. It would be a mistake to think John is a one trick pony.

It's all tied up at 7 votes each.
I figured it to be even money in this one.
Joe's been quiet lately, worries me a bit.
