I know this was previously against the rules. I was just wondering what changed? Will it stay like this or is it a promoter's discretion? I think it's great btw. I asked on the Facebook page but got no response, I figured I'd try on here.
Also, are there any bids out for next year's Nationals yet?

There were never any rules against it. That being said, the Nationals are suppose to be amateur. However this is not huge money and for the most part will be used to offset ones's traveling costs.
Before this no one has ever had the finances to do it. Kudos to Joanne and Lori for getting the sponsors for this event. Hopefully it will pay off in a huge event.
