According to posts on the Northeast board, and on Facebook, it looks like the Vegas event this weekend will not happen (at least - not in its advertised format). It seems to be "investor issues" - i.e. the sponsor backed out.
However - it looks like some sort of event will be set up at the last minute by others.

There is always the Western Ontario Championships this weekend.. with money prizes

That's a great Idea, anyone not going to worlds has no excuse.
Cash prizes, it seems to be the way tournaments are going. If you want it to continue you have to attend.

wish i had made a better decision about this weekend, should have stayed in ontario.. Good luck with the event, i am locked in to going to vegas..

I know U were committed for Vegas and a few others. Hope Bill C can put something together for the people that r still going. Just go and RIP up some arms Devon
