Area Leads
We have many topic that need to be discussed and sorted thru, so we have created the area leads. These people have been chosen because they are well known and easily contacted in their area.
The leaders will be responsible for relaying the massages back and forth from the exec to the members and back again. More precisely when the executive needs to make a decision on something they will send a message to the area leads and the area leads will forward the message on to the members in his group by way of a group e-mail.
Everyone in his or her group will vote on it and the leader will send back their decision as a group, EG: one vote. We will send out the question and give 14 days for a response, so that if you don't respond within that time, your vote will not be counted. Also if any member has an idea that they would like to put forward they are encouraged to discuss it in their area and vote on it if it passes in their area it can be sent to the Executive by way of the area lead and we will vote on it, if we think it is a good idea it will be sent back to the area leads for a final vote.
If an area lead is not performing their duties then their group can ask to vote on a new one.
This may be a slow process but we will all know what is going on all the time.
Joey

This was in an earlier thread, the name at the top of each list is the Area lead
We are rapidly moving thru a very hard year for the O.A.A. A lot of information to share and decisions to make. We have the list of Area leads completed and posted on the board, if your name is not on the list and you are an O.A.A. member let me know and we will get you on a list.
All of these leaders have been chosen because they are well known in their area and are willing to do the job. Their job is simple, relay information to and from the members in their area.. They also carry the vote for your area on all topics requiring a vote.
Some of the groups are much bigger than the rest and may still be divided up.

I wonder if Tony Brooks has ever met Toni Brooks. Maybe they're related?
