Thank you very much Matt. His name is Luca. His spirits were strong and his attitude positive. It looks like surgery won't be necessary.

The injury? No. It wasn't " break arm". He pressed to finish and it snapped above elbow on humerous. He is new, with low bone density. I didn't know about the bone density issue, or I would have had him sit & watch.

Ok i was just thinking it would be a good idea to start uploading the matchs that guys / girl brake there arms so newbes know what not to do and for better reffing in Ontario / Canada. As well people how there trianing with can show them the pros & cons of that move and so on.

I think that would be a great preventative tool having videos show how to not injure yourself and believe it would help with a lot of the newer and younger crowd who r eager to get started in the sport

It doesn't sound very typical at all Chris. Sounds like a snapped tricep tendon would happen first but if the bone isn't dense enough there would be substantial force on the arm in that position. When Fayez broke his he was not in a bad position either, watched it many times. May have been some rotational force on the humerous but we were stretched out with very poor leverage to apply any kind of substantial force to break bones. Video would serve as a horror flick rather than anything educational

It's not an epidemic. It's an extreme sport and the risk always exists. A broken arm is nothing compared to a concussion. Breaks will always happen. Unavoidable

Ewwww!! Really? I don't think many people will actually want to watch a video of a broken arm. I for one can certainly tell you that I will skip a vid if I think there is a broken arm in it.
Devon and Jeff were reffing. Not a bad position, as Chris mentioned earlier. Shit happens I guess. Knock on wood it never happened to me.
