Register online at www.tweedstampede.com to save yourself from paying admission to the Tweed Stampede. (You still need to pay to enter the tournament, $20/arm)
This is just signing up for the tournament, you dont pay till you get to the tournament. Very easy process. It will save you $25 (the cost of admission to the Tweed Stampede)
Also, I expect lots of amateur and novice competitors at this event. Trudeau Park, the event venue, has a long history of non sanctioned events, so I believe we may see a lot of new faces.
There is $500 up for grabs as well. This will be awarded in 2, $250 overall divisions. The overalls will be run in a king of the table format. 232+ champ vs 231 champ, the winner will take on the 198lb champ, that winner will take on the 176lb champ, and so on, finishing with the womens champ.
