Thanks to everyone involved in setting up this event on Saturday. I ate my share of carrots and assorted other goodies available there.
Unfortunately - I left in a hurry as the rain started (and missed the finals - oh well - I didn't make the finals anyways) - otherwise it would have been 2 hours until the next bus. I don't know about the weather in Bradford - but by 4 pm traffic was almost at a standstill on the 404 during a torrential downpour.
Having the tournament in a wrestling ring was great (however - it would have been brutal if the sun had decided to come out)! And congrats to Laura Cook who competed in the "men's" 154 right class as well as the women's classes. Due to the luck of the draw, she finished ahead of me :-)
And congrats on a great performance by Marcelo Palacios, and especially his win over Dave Knox. I've never seen Marcelo so happy.
