Anyone can have a supermatch. Being an OAA member is not a prerequisite.
By becoming an OAA member you help support armwrestling in Ontario. The funds primarily go towards special awards, website fees, and referee clinics. OAA members also get to earn points at circuit sanctioned events and participate in the Puller of the Year, Team of the Year, and Ontario's Strongest Armwrestling Region races. Points are earned at circuit sanctioned events. These are larger events that take place throughout the year in different parts of the province. There will be at least 5 circuit sanctioned events, plus the Provincial Championships. There will be two circuit events this fall, the details of which will be announced shortly. OAA memberships cost $20 and last for the season. Memberships can be purchased at any circuit sanctioned event.
IMPORTANT NOTE TO ONTARIO ARMWRESTLERS: Unless you purchased an OAA membership at the Provincial Championships in Ottawa at the end of May or since then, you are not currently a member for the 2009-2010 season. Be sure to renew your memberships at one of the upcoming circuit events.

Memberships can be purchased at any OAA circuit sanctioned event. The date and location of the next one will soon be announced.
