On a side note.... A High Hooker - Willy Albert, recently went to a Russian powerlifting competition. He place 2nd in the total department ( squat , bench and deadlift), and i believe he set a record with his deadlift. at 180 lbs he deadlifted..... i know i am gonna get this wrong cause it seriously fkd up my brain when he told me (cause i deadlift like 300lbs on a good day) but the # was 730lbs. Holy F ... that is Gym strong

Those numbers for Wille are KILOS - not pounds. He lifted 252.5/160/325 (squat/bench/deadlift) for a total of 735.5 kg - or 1,625 lbs! His deadlift was 30 kg more than the 1st place finisher. (the deadlift world record for his weight class is 360)

My best gym lifts, 450lb bench, 600lb squat, 550lb deadlift. Done with no gear , not even a belt. I do that for the greatest core strength possible. Core strength is where it is at. Willie is a freak! My lifts are not as strict as his, but I think if I trained like him I could hang with those numbers...could take a while to get that deadlift though!!!!d**n!!! That is world class! I don't think Devon could move as much weight as me in alot of things in the gym, but I am sure if he applied himself to it specifically he would be crazy. If someone can apply themselves to any one thing, I don't care what it is, and be the best in the world at it..... look out

Ps. How much room is left in Ottawa for inflated egos anyway?
