I will be doing several updates to the OAA website this week and want to confirm the list of teams that want to be listed as earning points for the 2009-2010 season. So far, I am defaulting to the teams registered for last season, with the addition of Lafontaine Locked and Loaded.
This is the list of teams:
Collingwood Armwrestling
Teeswater Thunder
Ottawa High Hookers
Belleville Armwrestling Club
Buckhorn Arms
Lafontaine Locked and Loaded
Sudbury Armwrestling Club
Harriston Havoc
If any of these teams should be removed, please let me know. Please also let me know if any other team wants to be listed (Port Perry? London?). Team members will earn points at circuit events and Provincials, if they are current OAA members for the 2009-2010 season.
Points were given out at the Western Ontario’s in Port Elgin on November 7th and the Eastern Ontario’s in Kingston on November 28th. The remaining circuit events are the Central Ontario’s in Peterborough on January 30th, the Southern Ontario’s in Woodstock on April 17th, and the Northern Ontario’s in North Bay on May 8th. The Provincials will take place in Toronto in early summer – the date will soon be confirmed.
