The Central Ontario Armwrestling Championships in Peterborough held by Guy Windover on Jan. 30 will be broadcast live. I will be running 2 cameras that day. 1 camera for our normal footage and the other camera will be live streaming the tournament. The address for the live feed is live.inthehook.comThe page has a video feed box and also a chat box. To be able to chat with other viewers , you need to go to www.justin.tv and register. You'll be able to log in to your www.justin.tv account at the live.inthehook.com page. You can create your www.justin.tv account and go to live.inthehook.com and try it out now. The page may have to be refreshed for the live video stream on Jan. 30 and the play button is in the bottom left corner of the video box. I will be logged in the chat answering any questions as they may arise.

You rock Mr Milne!!!! This will be over the top. Was at the venue on Friday. Lots of room to setup. The stage is at least 20 X 30. The ceiling is open with the steel girders so running patch cords will be easy as well. This should be a riot!!

Well that was a learning experience. We had our issues but we still made it through the tourney. Lessons learned: Never, ever, ever try to use a wireless connection for a live stream. Always bring more extension cords. Attach christmas lights to any wires or tripod legs that can be in contact with anyone so they'll see them. ;D Sometimes the best seats in the house are the ones that people overlook. Next time we attempt to live stream an event, I'll make sure to bring at least 100 ft of network cable so I won't have to deal with wireless again.

The live stream was just for internet but I had 2 cameras rolling. One for the live stream and the other camera as per normal tournament footage.
I'll try to get the footage up this week.

Thanks Jerry for all your hard work. With live feed I guess we can't lie about how certain matches really went! LOL
Take care and keep it up!

Some good news folks.
I just did a test run at my place with the same setup and without making any audio adjustments at all.
I focused my camera on my monitor and started streaming Super Troopers.
I went to another room and logged in to watch it. I could hear audio and it was watchable. By that I mean it wasn't too choppy.
So, I had no audio problems on my end. It wasn't too choppy either.
This was all with a wired connection vs. a wireless on the weekend.
