Because there isn't a perfect formula to determine who should be considered amateur and who should be considered pro, I think it would be unfair for the OAA to force a definition on everyone. I think pullers should continue to pull in the division they feel is appropriate and let the tournament director have the final say. Amateur classes are offered at so few OAA tournaments anyway that it really shouldn't be a big issue.

here's a idea let all drop this till after the MGC and then discuss it further let just all go and make this a great event and all have fun after all is that not what the sport is about lets not let this ruin Mike's tourny by all argueing about it leave it we can bitch and chew after saturday and in the great words of John Milne give me a Hell Yeah to make this a memorable event for all Pro's and ams !!!!

Hell Yeah!! This is a great thread for us noobies to read gives us a good idea where everyone's head is at about ams and pro's and for one if I get flashed in the ams I know not to get detured and I won't..But if you have dominated ams and still pull ams before even us noobies reserve the right to point and snicker lol..GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

As of the current status of the OAA, tournament director should decide, period. Very easy. MGC am's this year will be tough. THEY aren't alway's as tough as they are going to be this year. I would like to try sign up for am's and have big Mike say "sorry Jason, you are WAY too strong and skilled (and probably way too good looking) to pull am's!!" d**n it Mike!.. I mean...thank you

All right- didn't mean to make a big deal about it, just get a consensus. Ams is actually going to be a very tough class. Rest up Big Tone, this may be your day! Good luck to everyone, pros and ams. As for pros, wouldn't it be awesome if it were triple elim instead of double?! No?

Again everyone has so much to say..........I will be pulling amateur.....thinking about the experience of pro... one arm........either way my time, effort and money is going to the tourney ..... and supporting a great event that puts a huge gold star on a sport that needs everything we can give for that recognition! Most of all have lots of fun...........see ya there!
