GREAT event! Thanks to all for a well-organized event. (we finally left around 1:30 am - getting home to Montreal a little before 7 am).
I won match of the day (I also won it in 2006), and came a suprising 7th (out of 13) in the 154 Amateur class.

This was an awsome tournament. I had a great time. Being my first time at an official event, and with such great talent, I wasn't too sure what to expect. Everyone there was very encourging and supportive, so thank you and great job everyone.

The turn-out for this event was incredible! All classes were filled deep with talent. It was great to see pullers from BC, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia, as well as several American pullers, including many of the top pullers in the world.
I don't know that any armwrestling tournament has ever had so much coverage -- In the Hook, Armsport Videos, ArmTV, Crossfit, Fight Network -- we'll have lots of footage to remember this event for many years to come. In the Hook's live coverage was a particularly cool innovation.
Also, I don't know if it's an all-time record, but outside of a Canadian or World Championships, this year's event had the highest number of entries (238) of any sanctioned armwrestling events held in Canada in the 14 years that I've been in the sport. WOW!
Thank you to everyone who helped put this event together to make it the success that it was.

what an awesome event. it was great to see such high caliber armwrestlers in person. everyone in canada should go at least once.
i would have liked to have some grudge matches but we didn't get out of there till late 12:30? some other time.
