Hello,
I run other types of competitions. I was looking at creating a new event that featured a few different sporting events. I am quite interested in Arm Wrestling. At this point I know very little about it and have lots of questions on what the tournaments are like. If anyone has the time to walk me through it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Wow, I have to say this is an incredibly supportive sport. One day and so many people already responding.
Thanks Steve for that web link. It definitly helped understand the rules of matches.
Now I need help with the logistics. I plan to attend some of the up coming events. If any of you are their I would love to talk to some competitors first hand. By the beginning of June we want to start decided what sports we are going to add to our event. So far I am really liking the community involved in this sport as well as the sport itself.
Thank you for your email Allen. I will definitly will be writing you.
Here are a couple basic questions I hope so of you will be able to help answer for me. 1. How many officials do you need when running a tournament? 2. Are officials easily found in the Hamilton/Halton area? 3. What is the going rate for officials? 4. Do you need multi-tables to run a tournament or just one. Can this table be rented? 5. How long do tournaments last. 6. What is the average number of competitors and number of entries. It looks to be around 100 entries. Is this correct? 7. Are youth competitions popular or is it mostly adult competition? 8. Is their much risk of injury? Is insurance required? 9. Is most of the competition amateur or Professional? 10. What are some other things I should be aware of?
Thank you for the time you guys are giving me!
